Billy Goat is a name synonymous with outdoor equipment for lawn maintenance. Their wide array of products includes mowers, cutter, vacuums, blowers, aerators, and loaders. Billy Goat actually designs and manufactures all of their equipment in-house with industry grade materials.
The Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum is one of the best-selling products of the company. There are two models available regarding press time: the KV Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum and the MultiVac Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum. The KV Leaf Vacuum is Billy Goat’s standard 27 inches lawn vacuum that is designed for the maintenance of residential properties. The highlight of this Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum is the strong suction system that easily gets all debris, grass clippings, and leaves. This unit has a 5-blade impeller that makes the most out of sweeping and suction. The impeller even has serrated edges making the job of the operator easier and faster. All swept materials and debris end up in a breathable turf bag made of mesh and with a hard bottom and a dust cover. The turf bag even has marine-style clasps that make opening and emptying a breeze. Tread wheels are 12 inches in diameter and smooth. They even come with optional rear-wheels that are more applicable for hilly areas. This Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum also comes with an optional hose kit that reaches all dirt and debris in between shrubs and other hard-to-reach areas.
The other model of Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum is the Billy Goat MultiVac. Designed for extreme outdoor maintenance, this Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum can suck even gum balls, window wells, broken glass, mulch, and a lot of hedge clippings. It’s the perfect substitute to rakes and leaf blowers. Aside from a Honda engine powering a 29”-wide machine, the MultiVac also has a rear-wheel drive system plus top-fill design. The 3-speed transmission and adjustable intake adds to its strengths while the 30-gallon zipperless easy-empty bags make it more user-friendly. This Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum is perfect for larger properties or commercial use.
Each Billy Goat Vacuum can be used on lawns, patios, decks, parking lots, fence lines, walkways, beds, and even driveways. However, drawbacks to the brand include the fact that engines are not manufactured by the company. Honda and Briggs are the usual engine manufacturers and the warranty of the Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum does not extend to the engine. Services for the engine can be acquired through local engine dealers. The owner just needs the engine model number to avail of the service.
