Cyclone Rake

   (Read 500+ times)
By Patricia Wainwright

Cyclone Rake is the number one product manufacturer of Lawn Vacuums in the market today. With four models to choose from, its lawn vacuums are designed for all lawn and yard sizes and types. Cyclone Rake actually offers four models that homeowners can choose from: the Cyclone Rake Classic, the Cyclone Rake Commander, the Cyclone Rake Commercial Pro, and the Cyclone Rake XL.

The Cyclone Rake Classic is the standard lawn vacuum for small properties with steeper slopes. With a 5.5 horsepower (HP) engine and a capacity of 200 gallons, 27 cubic feet, and 22 bushels, it can cover even extremely congested yards. It has 4-blade heavy-duty impellers and 60 degrees dumping angles, making sweeping and collecting a breeze. Though it is 35” x 49” x 73” in size, storage is still easy since it folds flat. This Cyclone Rake Lawn Vacuum requires an 8 HP or larger mower or tractor that has a rear engine, a front engine, or a ZTR.

The Cyclone Rake Commander, on the other hand, is the best product for medium sized properties with moderate to heavy leaf cover. It has a capacity of 285 gallons, 38 cubic feet, and 32 bushels and an engine of 6.5 horsepower. This model also has the JetPath patented vacuum system that allows a bigger hose diameter preventing clogging. It’s quite bigger with dimensions of 43” x 49” x 73” and requires at least a 10 HP mower or tractor.

The third model is the Cyclone Rake Commercial Pro which is designed for large properties and extensive lawns with heavy leaf cover with its 5-blade high-flow impeller. This model has a capacity of 415 gallons, 55 cubic feet, and 44 bushels and carries a 6.5 horsepower engine. It also comes with a JetPath vacuum system and an easy-flow unloading method. This Cyclone Rake model requires at least a 14 HP mower or tractor and has dimensions of 48” x 54” x 79”.

The last lawn vacuum from Cyclone Rake is the Cyclone Rake XL which is designed for extremely large properties and more for commercial use. This model comes with 415 gallons, 55 cubic feet, and 44 bushels capacity and 9 HP engine. It also has the 5-blide high-flow impeller, the JetPath vacuum system, and the easy-flow unloading method which makes work faster and easier. This model also requires a minimum of 14 HP mower or tractors.

All Cyclone Rake lawn vacuums fold flat for easy storage and can come with optional accessories or upgrades. According to Cyclone Rake, choosing a lawn vacuum depends on the primary need of the lawn. Size should not be the only consideration since there are small lawns that are steeper, more congested, or even receive heavier leaf cover than larger ones which are more open and are not covered with trees. Cyclone Rake recommends the Classic or Commander models for tight and steep spaces. People with larger properties and heavier leaf cover, on the other hand, will benefit more from the Cyclone Rake Commercial PRO or XL models, which have increased vacuum power and capacity.
