Garden Loungers

   (Read 500+ times)
By Patricia Wainwright

Garden loungers are great furniture pieces that you can use in your lawn for rest and relaxation. Using garden loungers is a very comfortable way to relax as you can stretch out your limbs all the way through. You would ideally get the most out of garden loungers in summer, spring and autumn. In winter though, you need to store them away. You can put them inside your house, or if you don’t have enough space indoors, a better option would be to place them inside a garden shed. When storing them outdoors, it is recommended that you cover them up to protect them from moisture which could damage their color and even structure.

One of the most popular garden loungers are ones made of teak. They are very attractive and can withstand the heat of the sun well. They are also very resilient and are not prone to pest infestation. In addition, they are very low maintenance and age wonderfully. Their downside on the other hand is cost, as they can be rather expensive compared to other loungers. Inexpensive but good alternatives would be plastic garden loungers and rattan garden loungers. Plastic loungers for one are very lightweight but sturdy, while rattan loungers are comfortable on your body. You can still improve the appearance of cheap garden loungers by adding accessories such as cushions, pillows, tables, and garden seats.

The best garden loungers would be ones that can be adjusted to lie completely flat. These types can double as garden benches or can be used as additional seats when fully reclined. For wooden garden loungers or loungers made of metal, it is recommended that you get cushions for added comfort.

You can find many garden loungers for sale in the market. You can get them in furniture stores, home improvement outlets, do it yourself marts or even online stores. Before you get buy any, it would be helpful to go over the reviews of garden loungers that you are eyeing. Also try to compare the prices of different stores to make sure that you would be able to get the best deal. You would find that the good ones most often would come with guarantees or warranties. If you like to have friends over in your house, it would be recommendable that you get yourself a couple of garden loungers. Try not to buy that many though as in most cases three to four loungers would be enough.
