Lawn Care Tips

   (Read 500+ times)
By Jared Garrett

To keep up your lawn without utilizing chemicals of any form calls for 3 lawn care tips alone: a dependable lawn mower, a hose, and time. The following instructions are straightforward organic lawn care advice.

Lawn care tips #1: Choose a dependable lawnmower and keep the blade sharp.

Cut your lawn each week at the peak growing times, ensuring that you trim no more than 1/3 of the overall height of the lawn during any given time. This practice should enable the rootages to disperse and fortify. Do not utilize a rake or a bag. Mulch the lawn as you go along. If you mow the lawn each week, you'll never have an overabundance of grass clippings accumulating on the lawn. These clippings will provide nitrogen. It is a natural fertilizer as well. Also, the clippings provide additional organic mulch that your grass requires. In the fall, proceed to mow weekly until all the leaves have fallen from the trees. Do not collect the leaves, simply mulch the leaves into your lawn, this mulch will furnish additional organic matter that will decompose into beneficial fertilizer. The above advice will solely work if you mow every week. Yep, this requires a time committedness. Just remember, it's much less labor than being forced to rake and other similar lawn care chores. Simply continue weekly mowing. It also good to mow during the early evening, so that the morning dew is completely evaporated. This prevents the grass cuttings from gathering in clumps.

Lawn Care Tips #2: You must have a hose.

You do not necessarily require a sprinkler of any sort, nor do you require a sprayer nozzle, although a nozzle could be convenient. You'll irrigate your lawn 3 times weekly, by hand. This can be quite meditative and relaxing. If you have a significant other, you will be able to take advantage of this chore as time together. If you have children, you'll be able to utilize this task as play time with the kids. Children really enjoy playing in the water. Simply roam around the lawn and be certain to obtain adequate coverage while you water. While you're watering the lawn, keep a flat-head screwdriver with you. Pluck 5 to 10 weeds every watering session and very quickly you'll create a weed-free yard. Now, that’s organic lawn care!

Lawn Care Tips #3: You must set aside time.

However, when you consider it, time dedicated to taking care of your lawn can be a benefit to you and your family. Setting aside time to relax or clear your head in the fresh air, with or without the family, is truly a beneficial activity in our daily lives. I assure you these lawn care tips work. I personally use these lawn care tips on my lawn and I have one of the most beautiful lawns in my neighborhood.
