The BCS Tillers

   (Read 500+ times)
By Patricia Wainwright

Did you know that the BCS tillers are considered the top rotary tillers or rototillers in the market today? Its users have been giving BCS tillers rave reviews; and according to Garden Roto Tillers, the rototiller resource and review website, BCS tillers are considered the best performing tiller ever. So far, its durability and performance remains unmatched by any other tiller type and brand. If your garden's topsoil is weedy, rocky, or filled with clumps, a BCS rototiller is certainly a worthwhile and valuable investment.

Features of BCS Tillers

BCS tillers use rear-tine tiller technology enabling these to offer the following advantages: depth control, complete breakdown of untilled soil resulting in up to 8" of deep worked soil, and helps hold tractor in place for hard soils.

BCS tillers have no belts, allowing them greater power than other rototillers. They have a power reverse feature for cultivating tight spots. All models of BCS tillers have a 290 rpm tine speed with engine at maximum rpm. BCS tillers produce fine and soft soil. Be cautious, however, and do not over-till; this will over-pulverized your soil resulting in a soil that will always be degraded.

Tillers like BCS tillers can be used for primary cultivation, secondary tillage, seedbed preparation, and the mixing of organic fertilizer and crop residues into the soil, weed control at a shallow level and inter-season garden and farm works. The crop residues should however not be too long or fibrous as these may wrap around the shafts of the tines.

The BCS 710 tiller is the smallest of all the BCS tillers and is great for gardeners like us with small gardens. The following are the major BCS tiller parts: variable width tilling such as an 18-inch till width; all gear and beltless transmission for increased power; geared reverse and adjustable handles; and tines that rotate at a fast 290 rotations-per-minute (rpm).

In addition to tilling and those mentioned above, you can use the BCS 710 tiller for breaking compost and even for cutting grass. A hiller or furrower accessory can be easily fastened behind BCS tillers for making furrows or pushing soil out for hilling or ridging.

BCS Tillers for Sale

BCS tillers are widely distributed and available for sale in numerous gardening and agricultural supplies and equipment stores nationwide or online which can be shipped to you with charges or free of charge, depending upon the seller. You can even purchase used BCS tillers at e-bay, craigslist, and even at some gardening supplies store.

Proof of the durability of BCS tillers is the BCS 725 with 10 hp gas Acme engine purchased by a gardener in January 1980. Thirty one years after, only the blades and the bearings have so far been replaced due to normal wear and tear. The gardener considers it the best tool or equipment he has ever had.

While BCS tillers may be pricier than other tillers, its super and long-term durability and amazing performance actually saves you more money and time too. Purchase BCS tillers for sale now. They are worth the investment with the wonders they do to your soil and to your garden. Remember that BCS tillers do not merely work on your soil - it builds your soil to the highest level of productivity.
