Fencing need not be expensive
Most of us prefer our gardens to be private, enclosed, a sanctuary away from prying eyes. However, fences do not last forever, and the high March winds can do damage to the fence around your garden. You may find you have to replace some or all of your fencing and want to find a good, cheap fence for the job. If you have moved into a new house, you may discover the previous owners were quite happy with a low wall, but you want a fence round your garden for your dog. Whatever the reason, faced with the job of enclosing your garden, you need to find some cheap fence option that will work. One or two cheap fence panels will not break the bank, but if it is a major project, then it is not just cheap fence material you need but also cheap fence paint and possibly even cheap fence posts.
Cheap fence ideas
If, you have decided to buy cheap fence wood and make your own fencing, you must make sure that your fence is sturdy and that your fence posts are concreted into the ground. Attaching the cheap fence to the posts needs to be done very securely, but how you do it will depend on what you are using. If you need a lot of fencing, consider ordering it online and looking for companies with free delivery. Otherwise, you may find you need to hire a van to collect the cheap fence, and that adds to the cost. Pressure treated wood is more expensive but will last longer, so think about how cheap you need the fence to be now, versus replacement costs in the future. Depending on how the panels are woven you will get more or less wind resistance in your cheap fence panel, but also you have to choose a design that you like.
Alternative cheap fence material
Your cheap fence could be made of plastic, molded to look like wood, requiring no paint, and cheap fence pickets in plastic are already white. Your property could be bordered by a mixture of tall privacy fencing, and decorative picket fencing, all in plastic, a cheap fence already in the color you want and also very long lasting. If you need a cheap fence, consider what you want it to look like, how high, how wide, and what color. Then, go online and price up the different options, include delivery, and if it is a large project, consider getting someone else to do the installation. Do not be afraid to haggle if you need a lot of fencing, and your garden will be secure in no time and at low cost.
