The Yard-Man Leaf Vacuum is a product manufactured by MTD International, one of the biggest outdoor power equipment manufacturers in the world. The company was founded in 1932 in Ohio, starting as a tool supplier to a local manufacturing company. Yard-Man is just one of the families of brands of power equipment owned by MTD. Both models have 31cc recoil starting systems with primers that can easily be started even during cold seasons. All three models are designed for easy yard clean-up. They can even be used to rid pathways, driveways, and garages of dust and debris. The Yard-Man leaf vacuum boasts of 30% more power than other products. Its engines are commercial style and full-crank but are lighter so they sure to be easy on the hands. What adds to this is the dual-handle design that allows easy navigation to the left or the right. With this system, it’s not that difficult to hit leaves from awkward angles. The Yard-Man Leaf Vacuum only weighs 9 lbs., which makes it easy to move around the yard. Every Yard-Man Leaf Vacuum also comes with a 2-year warranty. The only drawback to the Yard-Man leaf vacuum is its price. It costs more than a leaf blower. However, it’s two-in-one so price is really not a problem.
Yard-Man also offers a 3-in-1 Chipper, Shredder, and Vacuum. This Yard-Man Leaf Vacuum comes with a 5.5 horsepower engine that’s very easy to start. Its vacuum nozzle clears 24 inches of swath and can get leaves, grass clippings, twigs, and other types of debris easily. Its vacuum hose is easy to operate and can even reach narrow and unreachable nooks and corners. Its built-in chipper with two flail knives can cut twigs op to 1 and ½ inch in length. The vacuum bag is also easy to empty. This Yard-Man leaf vacuum even has a height adjuster that can be lowered to 3/8 of an inch to 4 inches or raised higher. It also comes with an optional leaf blower attachment for an additional $130. This Yard-Man leaf vacuum retails at more than $1200, a hefty price to pay.
Most users of the Yard-Man Leaf Vacuum like it for its quality and the amount of work that it can do in a short span of time. They say that it can cover acres of land faster than an ordinary leaf blower.
